Back To The Stories

The year has gone past, and what's ahead is never going to be the same; the joys and heartaches that had been shared with. will change, with all the untold stories.
But with my past, with all the stories that had been known, you can't erase the words, but to only keep reading on.
Once upon a time ...
hahaha. I'm always happy, bringing on a smile on my face wherever I go. Laughing at the littlest thing. I would never cry, cause I'm always happy. I believe that fairytales come true in those stories and in life too, if you believe in it. None of my friends want to believe. They keep saying that there's no such thing and keep telling me to stop dreaming of my fairytales and prince charming. Nope, not going to happen(:
There were so much happiness, each a different one everyday. here was last year, Jing Xuan - my very first partner - and I were always talking non stop in class, sharing our laughters together until then, I sat with Michelle Chua. She was the opposite of Jing Xuan. She hardly ever said a word and I thought at that time that it would be difficult to build a friendship with her. Little did I know, she and I became kind of good friends, though she said a few then, but almost the whole time, I was talking non stop to her, even sharing my problems with her. She was really nice and a good listener.
LOL. Jayme, sitting in front of me, always sitting sideways facing Faith. She, has tons of different jokes to share with us every new day that started and hardly ever giving us a break from laughing. So I called her my joker friend.
And there's this year. Faith, my first-few-months-Chinese partner. We had fun sitting together + Shimona, in front of Faith. I remembered there was a time when I was bored of listening to the teacher, so I started drawing some people in class. I drew a few before Faith wanted to help too. LOL. It was so much fun how they all turned out to look. There was Jing Xuan, Faith, me, Nicole Ang, Trisha, Shimona, Claudia, Zhi Yin, Jayme and Evangel. And it turned out that Jayme was the prettiest.
Shimona was funny too. Every time when we were supposed to do our Chinese workbook, she would turn around to join Faith and I, though we end up talking a lot and she making fun of me and Little Miss Sunshine.
I had my new partner; Nicole Chan. She's a great girl and partner. We're always laughing, me making her. She thinks I'm crazy though. Sometimes we sing songs, exchange stories with each other and draw clothes. It all sounds like we're still little kids. But who cares? We were enjoying ourselves.
There came the look-a-like-McDonald teacher, big smile on his face, walking with confidence; Mr Jhee. Hahahaha, He doesn't know how to pronounce my name, but I didn't care much cause it was funny and then Zhi Yin made it even 'worse'. It wasn't my first time hearing someone pronounce my name wrongly. But I guess I can't blame them and say it's wrong, because some English words have a few different pronunciation, so maybe my name is one of them.
Mr Jhee forgot my anme a few times, and when he asked, I told, but there was Zhi Yin, saying nono and pronouncing it the way he first said my name. And then she would laugh and everyone joins in, but poor Mr Jhee would have a confused look on his face. From then on, Zhi Yin started calling me by that name Mr Jhee made for me.
ANd Jayme, I have no idea what she has been doing in Maths class, because at that period, again Mr Jhee called my name, this time, Jayme burst out laughing so loud and non-stop like she heard the most hilarious thing. And then Zhi Yin and Trisha started to join her, but wasn't worse than hers.
Zhi Yin, my Maths partner. She's like the funniest friend I've sat with. She's really nice too, though mean at times; changingmy name to a maid's one and then calling me by that name and asking me to do things for her ( "Maliya, cook for me" , "Maliya, wash my clothes!" etc ). I like Zhi Yin's stories. Haha, but mine's much more intersting(:
Poems! I'm not really sure what it is actually, doesn't really look and sound like a one, but that's what we call it! Evangel was the one who started it all at first. And because it's her, it's something emo. And then I started mine, which was all lovely dovey. Last, we combined our thoughts in together with Faith, writing different different types of poems, though almost all of them are about love. Sad ones. The three of us wrote many and I've kepy most of them, opening up those slightly crumbled papers with different handwritings and reading them from time to time. I guess that's one way to keep their faces and those moments we had fresh in my memory.
I've read what some wrote and I'd still say Rachel's one was the only one that kind of touched my heart. Rachel wrote her own poems. They beat all of ours that we wrote. And I gave a thought then. That maybe the truth is the one that hurts the most, more than you can imagine. So much so that it breaks the heart of the writer more than anyone else that reads it over again, and again.
Science Lab Group! YAY! I love my Science group. There's Rachel, Charmaine, Clara and me. We always got scolded by Mr Jhee for talking or singing and sometimes even laughing :D
It was really fun being with them though. Rachel was always the one who starts singing all those really sad love songs that her eyes would go teary. hahaha. But it was rather sad for her too, because those Taylor Swift songs just reflected back at her, one way or another. But I'm glad she's not really singing them anymore - she finally got her happy ending(:
There was once Rachel started singing (as usual) and then slowly, one by one, each of us started singing our own songs; which finally, it was loud enough that we all realised that we were singing different songs. Then one of them said "can we all sing the same song together?" and we laughed. Clara and Rachel were the ones who dared to sing out loud. Charmaine, she sings rather softly and according to Rachel, she said I always sang to myself. Ohh well. I'm definatly going to miss them all and those special moments that they gave me and not others the next time I sit in the Science Lab with my new three new group members. Who knows that although we might do the same thing - sing - but what I do know that it is a different kind of joy that I had shared with Rachel, Clara and Charmaine...
The End.

I turned around and saw you.
My eyes locked right there.
I tried to look away, then you caught me.
You know that I would risk it all for you,
just to prove how much my love for you is true.
I know that you can't accept me right now,
but I just want you to know that I would be waiting for you...
waiting for you there,
because I know that the day would come,
where everything would be so perfect;
the rainbow gently crosses the fluffy clouded blue sky,
there's the greenery so green.
The midnight woods,
that would only be safe for you and me; our hands clutching,
never would we be seperated.
But all I could do now is dream about you, about us.
Our fairytale dream.
And I know that they would come true,
because I believe that dreams come true...
So I'll build a really strong wall around my heart,
that will only break apart for you.
As I know that in a once upon a time, it'll happen.
You make me feel like I'm really someone when I'm with you.
You change the way I feel,
so tell me what's the deal.
Don't say, please don't say it's too late, cause I know it's never too late,
for us to be together, deeeply in love.
All would happen.
All would come true.
And when it does, you'll be the prince and I'll be the princess.
And I'll tell you at midnight, under the magical stars,
that I love you. Maybe that would even be our first kiss.
In once upon a night, we'll know then that we'll live
happily ever after...

I’m supposed to write an entry about Zhi Yin about her on her birthday (3 July X=). I know it’s way past the date already, but still… at least there’s going to be something about her. Zhi Yin… hmmm… a fun and really friendly girl, once you start talking to her, you’ll ‘never’ stop talking and laughing. She and Jollyn love to have a cat ‘fight’; kicking, hitting, pulling each other’s hair that the next glance at them, they are on the floor. It’s really hilarious to see them ‘fight’. Zhi yin is somewhat a good friend – a rare one – one who never gives up trying her very best to help the friends who are really close to her when they are in need.
Zhi Yin : Track and Field; a jumper (she can do it!) & she is awesome! [=
About a few weeks ago, my History project group members including Shirlyn who is not, came to my house to it finish up. The rest left early except for Shiryln and Mirabel. Shirlyn was really really fascinated about my living room ker-ku clock; every half hour, a little bird would come out of a (look like) gate and ker-ku for some time (it depends). It’s kind of funny observing Shirlyn’s expression. But I’m glad she likes it :D
It was past 6.30pm and both of them had to leave, but I remembered that Chloe always wanted to see my ker-ku clock whenever she heard the sound on the phone. She seems interested like Shirlyn too, so I told them to stay until 7pm before they leave to so I could take a video on Shirlyn’s handphone and show it to Chloe in school. Chloe seems to like it too (:
Friday… the 25th. We had Life Science Programme. It was that day… I don’t remember how it started, but then Trisha kept asking me who was the guy I like, what was his name, was he from ACS(I)… on the other hand, Rachel also kept asking me who I liked, and kept repeating the name “Michael… Michael… Michael” that I was blushing so hard. It was obviously passed around about half the class X=
And there’s Debbie (one-week-new-girl), who heard Rachel chanting Michael’s name that she knows about it and started doing the same too! All of them from my group, sitting together making me blush without giving me a chance to cool my face. And what’s worst was that there was one part of the lesson that the teacher was telling us the thin skinned people usually blush a lot and usually like when they are just laughing, etc. and single one turned to back of the lab, look directly at me. I had to turned my face away and used my left hand to cover myself. Like always, someone would say it so loud that I am blushing. And there’s Rachel, sitting right in front of me, laughing so hard that I had to even see it. But it was relieved that the attention was later turned to Evangel :D I think she was also blushing. It did not stop at recess; Debbie saw me and called me blush girl. Evangel later saw me and called me blushing girl…
It was at least a fun lesson that day, especially my group, at the very back end of the lab, enjoying ourselves. I guess it’s just something special.

Hahaha - Rachel Lim; she asked me to write about how swesome she is(: Poor girl, yesterday she fell when running - I think, and Shirlyn laughed at her):She was in pain yeterday, wonder if she's alright today...Yesterday, yesterday, yesterday...was International Friendship Day too. My classmates all did their cards and beautiful hand-made gifts for the Secondary 4/8 girls (an exchange). Well, except Trisha, but can't blame her. She's been away for Track competition; she's a really fast runner. So anyway, what did we get in return? Most of us did not get anything, because the 4/8 girls did not bother to do them! One of them is me): But Rachel recieved a Kit-Kat chocolate; at least it's something. Maybe becaus she;s swesome... bet she's happy(:It's been quite some times alrady, since I've been sitting and hanging out with a different group of friends. They're nice; all of them. Nicole Chan, Clara Lee, Melissa Ng, Trisha Liaw, Jayme Jacob, Nicole Ang, Zhi Yin, Crescencia, Shimona Loke, Nina Gee, Evangel Lim, Claudia Yong, Rachel Lim; my recess friends(:Laughters always fill te two fulllog tables - bringing colors to your life!

Our favourite matching outfit on. Hate down, scarves around, gloves pulled up and high heel boots shove in. Long hairs were gorgeously let down to our backs.
It was a silent dark night, but the soft white snow kept falling. Every step we took was leading to a place, a place that belong to us.
If anyone paid any attention and bothered to look up and around, they would notice beautiful color lights coming from the very top.
Up we climb, taking one step at a time, there was no need to rush. One after another followed closely behind.
“Here we are” I’ll smile.
We’ll all smile.
Short grasses everywhere below our feet, tall trees everywhere beside us.
Decorations hanging from trunk to trunk. They were all shone brightly with different colors.
We’ll sigh, satisfied.
Our work was worth it.
Closing my eyes, lifting my head up and reaching my hands up to touch and feel the snow falling.
We all sat at the edge of the cliff, on the fresh soft fallen snow, letting our feet dangle freely in the cool breeze, we could see houses, people throwing parties, families in and out of restaurants. The street was lighted up all the way.
A huge, tall white coniferous tree was placed in the middle of the circle. Hotels surrounding half of he circle. It was too beautiful for your eyes to be distracted.
“Merry Christmas”. It was a whisper.
'Journey to the past'

Most of us were strangers, starting out on a journey. Seeing our form-Chinese teacher; Mdm Hong, 'freaked' us out at first. Getting to know her better as days went by, most of us accepted her. But not the popular ones, who still couldn't believe that she was our form teacher espicially. Her Chinese lessons were boring to some, that one of my classmates started doing whatever she wanted, like sleeping or reading or some craft work; Trisha.
Science teacher was a killer. Hearing those discouraging words to us and scoldings almost everyday made us felt angry and sad and maybe also hopeless. But did it made us change? Maybe a few...
Male for English; Mr Chan. Shocked and whispers among each other when he steped in, walked straight to the teachers' desk and turned to face us on his first lesson, someday after mid-year. He was one of the teachers who did not look down on us. He made us laughed and sometimes organised games during lessons, and not to forget, after End Of Year exams, he promised to show us his wedding photo after much pleading from us. His wife's very pretty.
We were always eger for English lesson to start. It was great fun, espicially he hardly ever got angry and sometimes we even 'argued' with him until he was speechless!
But sadly, there was one time when we were all so rowdy that he couln't handle us no more that he gave up. That was it for that day. He hadn't taught us much and he grabbed his belongings and stomped out of the class. The class was silent. No one moved. I don't remember what happened next, whether anyone tried to stop him, but I think some did. It was our second time that day, that another teacher walked out on us.
The first was Ms Croy, a relief Literature teacher. She was really nice too. Like Mr Chan; she hardly ever got angry. But the big difference was that her lessons were a boredom to everyone!
So anyway, much later on, after Ms Croy left, an old lady was replaced. And then again, after that old lady left, another slightly old lady was replaced. But this time, this old lady; Ms Goh, was not 'going away'. She was really really, really a boredom! She was like so kind that when everyone got bored of her teaching and started doing their own things, she doesn't seemed to care at all. Maybe one or two were listening to her 'old grandmother boring story'! She was kind of blur too and just a tiny little bit of funny-ness. And that's why, those who do not like to study and do their homework, loves Literature lesson a lot!
The rest of our subject teachers were okay; nothing really intersting about them.
Mid Year results... more than half the class would have been down-graded if it was End Of Year. Really scary.
It was spread to all the teachers that my class was the worst in the level. Worst in what way? Everything. From our behaviours to our studies. Advices from teachers also, who were not teaching us. Advices from the class committees. They did not seem to help at all. Despite the strife and storms ahead, we managed to go through them together.
Serious faces were seen more as End Of Year exams were approaching. Guess that means more passes that time...Yup, sure it did! And our class had a lot of improvements, except for three who didn't managed to make it. It was really sad. We didn't want anyone to leave. It wouldn't be a full class. If only there was a second chance...
Retreat was a killer of sadness. Tears and sobs flooded the room towards the end. My classmates, my friends, were the ones who started and ended 'them'. I looked at my classmates whose tears kept flowing for a long time. Stopped, but continued shortly. Their problems must have been heaving in their hearts.
Maybe I couldn't understand what their problems were, but the heaviness and sadness, maybe I could, just a little. I felt sorry for them. I wanted to help, but had no idea how to.
My class, was the one who got all the attention from the others. It all came from us. And I guess, that day, that moment, was how we bonded.
We were really fortunate for having such a form teacher like Mdm Hong. I'm not sure if everyone in class realised it, but she is like the best teacher in school.
And that's what makes my class of 40 students and Mdm Hong, a complete
Secondary 1E8 '2008 class!

5:02 AM
9 October.
Exams were over that day.
Michelle, Evangel, Jollyn, Faith, Shimona, Zhi Yin, Jayme and me. We were going out that day, to Raffles Town Club.
Zhi Yin, Jayme and I went to the Primary school grand-stand to sit around and wait for the time to fly past. We had about another 2 more hours before the Home Econs girls paper ends and we could leave. Nina also followed along.
Zhi Yin and Jayme were really funny. They were 'fighting' and laughing at the same time. That's what they always do in class. Jayme was teasing Zhi Yin that she couldn't run faster than her and they kept racing. Everytime Jayme beat Zhi Yin, she would keep laughing at her.
I just sat at the big stairs and watched them, laughing away at what they were doing. Whatever they did, was always funny.
There was one time when Zhi Yin finally beat Jayme. Zhi Yin was really happy and was laughing at Jayme. Jayme was sad and complained to me. HAHAHA.
We were bored, so we went back to our canteen. We had about an hour more or so.
Jayme, Zhi Yin and Nina were chatting away while I made hearts out of straws. But later on, I joined in after I ran out of straws.
Nina kept taking photos of me secretly, but showed me after that. I looked so ugly in all of them!
Janelle and Rachel.L later came to join us. Jayme took a photo of Janelle. That was the funniest photo because of the expression on Janelle's face. We all laughed so hard.
Time to change then wait for the Home Econs girls. While changing, we heard voices of our classmates. Their paper had just finished. When I was done, I got out and Shimona said I looked like a sailor! So mean of her! But I would kind of admit I look like one. I was wearing a blue and white strip collar blouse and a shorts-skirt. Evangel looked really pretty for the first time. Her clothes were girly.
Once everyone was ready, we got into Michelle's mum's car and went for lunch at Macdonalds. Something really hilarious happened there; Evangel and Zhi Yin were walking right infront of everyone, so they went in to Macdonalds first, of course. But then, Michelle's mum decided that we went round to look first. By then, Evangel and Zhi Yin were still walking inner to Macdonalds. We tried to call them, but they were quite far and we were laughing so much because we kept calling their names, but none of them heard and continued to walked inner, not knowing, which was really funny. Then, I think it was Jayme who told Faith and I not to call them and let them continue to walk. But Faith and I tried to call them again, but our voice were so soft because we were really laughing really hard that quite a number of people were looking at us. Finally, when Evangel and Zhi Yin were about to turn to a corner, they turned back to look for us, but realised that we were not behind them. They saw us by the door, laughing so hard and hurriedly walk towards us. I think they felt quite embarrasse. Anyway, so after we went to look around, we finally decided back on Macdonalds. After lunch, Michelle's mum drove us to the club.
Fun time! We were all so excited.
We headed for bowling first. I don't think any of us had bowled before except for Michelle. After the first round, we felt that it was really fun bowling, so we went another two more rounds. We all did quite well in bowling except for poor Jollyn, but she was okay. Evangel and Shimona were the best players. Most of the time, after I bowled, I turned back to my friends and show a very sad face, until Jayme could not take it, she 'scolded' me, that I better not show 'that' face, so I changed my expression; happy and waved both hands. That was really weird and insane, I know. Everyone laughed.
Zhi Yin was another funny one. Don't know why, but the way she bowls, there would always be a hole. She felt so frustrated that when she turned back to us, her reaction was really hilarious that Jayme and I laughed so hard.
Shimona, Zhi Yin and Jayme were so weird! They said they were brotherly loved...
Then I said " How can your be brotherly loved?! It's sisterly loved! "
They laughed so loud and one of them replied " Live with you can die ah! "
They're so mean. But funny too. They're girls anyway, not boys. I kept telling them that they were sisterly loved and not brotherly loved and they keep laughing and think I was crazy.
Anyway, about the last round of bowling, my long thumb finger nail broke. It still kind of hurts a little.
After we had enough of bowling, we headed to the arcade! I never played arcade before, but I know it's really fun. Faith and I first played racing car together, which was really weird and boring. Then, we went to see Jayme and Zhi Yin. They were playing some shooting game. But later, played a sort of music game which was really funny. We joined them. Zhi Yin and Jayme teamed up together, Faith and I together. The game was confusing. We kept hitting the buttons really hard until our palms hurt. Anyway, after about 2 games of it, Faith and I gave up and went to play some dancing game. Hahaha, it was kind of lame.
But the funnest game was a shooting game Faith and I played. Was really thrilling but I kept dying. Faith was really good at it.
Michelle and her mum left early because her mum wanted to bring Michelle to cut her hair. Poor Michelle, she didn't want to.
All of us left shortly after that.
I had a great day(:
Never go out in such a big group of friend before.
We were all really happy, I hope there's another outing like this again :D
